I have started turning pens and now intend to make my own blanks. I am going to use your "water Clear" polyurethane casting resin and our polyurethane pigments to relate the solid colours. Will I be able to use other types of pigment powders, such as "Pearlex" to make contrasting features without extracting from the resins strength? Also, what depth of resin can be put into a mould in one pour? I want to make my blanks about 20mm square.

Yes pearlex and other pigment powders should be fine.  The water clear PU is limited to 15mm per layer so 20mm would need 2 pours to avoid any exotherming.
