Hi everyone. This is my first post on this site. Im trying to see whats out there for a colored carbon fiber fabric which I know there is plenty of, but i also want the fabric to have some kind of a colored orange chrome weave in it too.  An example would be the "Reflections Series" of fabrics from Composite Envisions. I included a picture of one of their fabrics for reference on what im looking for.    The closest ive found is what I posted in the picture, but that one unfortunately has a shiny gold weave in it.   Id love to find a fabric just like this, but with a chromed orange type of weave in it.  If anyone knows of anything that might be close, or you guys know of some other cool carbon fabrics with an out of the ordinary (preferably shiny) orange color to it, please post up some info on where i can find it, and if you have time, a picture.   THANK YOU!!

I'm assuming you've seen Composite Envision's coloured fibreglass fabric?

*EDIT* Sorry, just reread your post and realised you're after something chromed. Can't say I've seen any chromed orange fabric before though, bronze would be the closest I've seen.

I think what you may be looking for is aluminized fibreglass, not actually carbon fibre.

I think he wants the carbon/orange weave, not a solid colour.

Easy Composites has an orange one since short not sure if it's high reflective like a orange colored aramid but looks cool as well

Thanks everyone for responding.
Fasta- your correct that alumized fiberglass might give me more of a look that im aiming for, but i still want to have that carbon fiber in it.  Ill keep it in mind, but still gonna continue to look around.

Hanaldo- correct.

Matthieu-  i checked out the link for the fabric you posted. Looks pretty good. Ive been on that site before. Id still like to try to find something with more of a chromelike orange weave to it.  I have feeling that i may have to use one of the fabrics that weve already talked about because what I want just doesnt seem to be out there.  Its out there for other colors such as blue, green, red,  but just not orange..  Also Matthieu-  Like I said, ive never done this before. I am planning to just do the wet lay, NOT a vacuum process.  I have seen your video where you covered the lamp, but if you have any other videos, chats, or any other kind of DIYs out there that could help me with materials to use, tips, etc.,, can you send them my way?? Id really appreciate it.  If emailing it is easier for you rather than posting on here you can send it to my email.  deshong10@gmail.com.

If anyone else sees anything interesting as far as fabrics, send it!  Thanks guys.

I have videos on my youtube-channel about many topics related to composites with or without vacuum and many more to come. Would depend on what you would like to make and what process you would like to use, then I might be able to give you some more info, or all the other members as well Smile

Another idea could be to use the yellow/black type cloth and then finish with an orange candy,
not the same but would work and look trick.
