I am curious as to how this dash turned out for you as I have a dash that is prepped and just about ready to lay on the CF, but my dash is a foam dash, after I removed all the vinyl.
Can you post pics of your finished dash?

WHATS THE BEST time to trim all my pieces? I was thinking of trimming all the edges now on the first coat?

If fully cured it's better to give it a soft sanding, say 400grid wet and you will see if you go through the fibers or not. Most important thing is that low spots are ok, it's just that you need more coats. Don't try to go through as much low spots as possible when you are sanding, but you need to know where to stop...then you can add more layers wet on dry/tacky thats the chemical bond...if fully cured you will need to sand in between to get a mechanical bond

Is it bad to add another layer of resin to a fully cured resin layer? Or should I sand the first coat? Im just scared of sanding into the carbon fiber

ow to bad...try looking for a thicker epoxy resin...the coating resin is very thick which makes it easier to cover everything in less coats

Unfortunately I'm not able to buy from Easy composites being in Canada, Stuck using a 2 part epoxy from West Systems. Every time I put in my cart it says they do not ship dangerous goods to canada.

good job so far! now come the fun part of sanding and recoating :p I have a new video coming online tomorrow on my youtube btw about that topic :p
No way! I may just wait for it then!
haha :p its about fixing bad parts but in fact it's just like skinning parts using the epoxy coating resin from easycomposites that is now improved and called XCR, you will get better results and work faster this way than coat it with regular epoxy
video online at 17:00 Belgian time today (tuesday) on www.youtube.com/matthieutje65
