This one got me thinking ...

Just for the fun of it I tried some of the EC profinish for skinning a small panel .. I did precisely what they did in the video ..

Layed it on and heated it gently with my heat gun ... and the profinish backside sticks on just like glue ..   --  works a treat!!

I let it cool, then brushed on standard lamination Resin, and it stayed put ..

I'm not sure it would work on complex compound surfaces, since the Profinish does not like to conform to that, and may not have enough "stick" to stay attached when applying the top layer of resin .. 

Just to test it, i tried using cytec spray on another piece, and gave it a good layer, then let it dry completely .. it "reactivates" with the heat gun just the same way, but sticks much more to the part .. and needs a bit more heat ..
