First step, Take it out and/or post a pic. Then we can help ya figure it out.

Checkout thier large carbon fiber skinning kit, it might be large enough for your dash, need to see s pic of it and measurment.

hi hear is a photo of my dashboard i have covered it in fibre glass and sanded it smooth and then gone over it with body filer

Hi Marlonji,

It looks good to go. Early VW dashes are a very angular affair and so I think I would be considering doing the large flat sections in one peice and the 'inside' edges of the binnacle as a separate strip.

In reality on this job I think the angular shape of it will work in your favour. I would suggest using ProFinish cloth which is like a normal 2/2/ twill but it has a binder on the back which holds the cloth stiffer stopping the weave from distorting and also allowing you to put very neat join/join lines in it. ProFinsih will also allow you to to make separate strips for the inside of the binacle and some of the other 'sections' that would otherwise require too much weave distortion.
