Mould repair - Cleaning out non setting gelcoat/wax additive

I tried repairing my mould last night as there were a few pin holes in the surface.

I therefore mixed up some tooling gelocat and wax additive and just filled in the holes.

Its now almost 24 hours since and the repair areas are still a little tacky.

I did use the correct ratio, but obviously something hasn't gone to process.

Therefore, what is the best solution to fix this ?

Do I wipe away the existing tacky repair and try and fill them again, or is there anything you can do to harden the existing repairs ?
