I have a couple of questions,

Can I mix paint with clear epoxy, either alkd (oil based) or acrylic.

Then flatten and polish the epoxy?

The Epoxy does not need to be structural, as it goes over existing epoxy.

Very probably Not ...

Any oilbased paint, with solvents will ruin the Epoxy, any waterbased paint will ruin the epoxy because of the water content..

Buy proper Epoxy pigment and add to the epoxy ...
