Thx Dravis but I'm looking for something like this:

Something what will not require extra work Smile and what will be handy for operator. Cheers!

This can be done using a dial indicator (or "Dial clock" the ones used to indicate runout on a lathe, or movement on a milling machine.)

http://www.rdgtools.co.uk/cgi-bin/sh000001.pl?WD=dial&PN=CLOCKS__DIGITAL___MANUAL.html#a398475

You need to build a stable "rig"   in effect a large "U-shaped" metal construction, with an adjustable point on the lower part, and a mounting point for the dial indicator or "dial clock"

This "u" needs to be big/deep enough to allow you to reach the middle of your largest work-piece

You can then set the dial indicator to zero on the adjustable point, and measure away .. BigGrin

"Sapere Aude"... Dare to KNOW!

Thank you for your replay. Its for cured part.
For example: Let say that the part is 1,5m long and 1,5m wide and has complicated shape.
I would like to check thickness in the middle and with caliper or micrometer i will not be able to reach those points. Thx

checking thickness of material? or cured laminates?

a good pair of verniers and a micrometer are usually enough, you get specialised measuring calipers for checking material thickness thats used in the textile industry if you want to measure fabrics.

Hi all,
I'm looking for some kind of measurement equipment , which will be able to read  thickness in few different places(not only edges) of a part. Something what can be used by operator.  Thank you.
