Have run out of bagging tape - just a foot too short! Sprayed GC50 on Saturday, if the tape arrives on Tuesday - will the epoxy still bond after 4 days?

Well ... the specs say that it will remain bondable "for up to 24 hours" --

I have sucessfully infused parts more than 24 hours after spraying GC50, but I knew ahead that I would not be able to make it in the 24 hours, so after around 2 hours at 20 Deg in my workshop, I stored the parts in my garage, which at that time was around 10 deg. C.

The next day I brought them back to my workshop, and set up all the infusion kit, and bagged it. that took around 25 mins ..

I infused, and the parts were fine.  I used one of them for a "Destructive test" along with other parts of similar "build" and the 24 hour+ parts were just as strong as the others, and did not delaminate more than the standard parts ..

Thanks - do you remember how far past 24 hours those parts were?

I would have been about 30 hours after they were sprayed, of which 26 hours or so was in the garage at 10 Deg. C.

As Dravis eludes to, the longer you leave it, the less likely you will get a good bond.  Reducing the working temperature is one factor that can slow the cure and buy you more time.  However 4 days is a long time and you may well find it is too far gone.

You could slightly pre-stretch the gum tape or cut it in half length ways to make enough tape to bridge the gap.  Obviously this is not ideal and will leave you less room for error and more vulnerable to a leak but it might be worth trying it and if you can hold a good leaktight bag then crack on while the GC50 is still bondable.
