Hello,
all this stuff is completely new for me, but I wanted to make my own carbon fibre parts and so my journey began.
I bougt the "Mould making Starter Kit" and prepared the parts.
I made a mould for door handles and fuel lid for my Honda.
The Mould is more or less ready now. Had to repare it here and there due to a stuck fuel lid.....
Now I want to make the carbon parts out of the form, but don´t know hoe to procede.
I saw, that there was a starter Kit for Resin infusion, but since the parts that I want to make are more or less small (and also the edge across the mould is very thin +. 2 cm

) I thougt it would be better if I Just wet lay the carbon fibre and vacuum bag the parts.
I want them to be high gloss. Now I read, tht they won´t be I I just wet lay the carbon fibre, you only get the "glossy" result when you infuse the resin. Is that correct? Whould you get the glossy effect when you spray the parts with clear varnish afterwards?
Is there also a How-TO for vaccum bagging, or just the one for resin infusion?
Thanks for your answers

Greetings,
Lars
