Hi guys, im pretty new to composites, and there are some parts i wish to make for my car.
Now there is one part i really hope to be able to make, but im having a hard time as to figure out how to go forward with it.
If possible at all for a beginner..
There are some great pictures of the part here:
http://www.911used.com/car-detail/body-kits/Porsche-996-Turbo-Carbon-Fiber-Side-Air-Scoop_291093541065.html
And i have the original part lying which i can make a mould from.
But how do i go around to keep the carbon pattern as straight as possible?
I guess getting the fabric around some of the bends will pose a challenge?
Also i would like to infuse it.
What do you think? will it be to tricky?

Nope, easy as. You will need to make relief cuts in the carbon to keep the weave straight though, no...
