Hi guys, im pretty new to composites, and there are some parts i wish to make for my car. Now there is one part i really hope to be able to make, but im having a hard time as to figure out how to go forward with it. If possible at all for a beginner..
There are some great pictures of the part here: http://www.911used.com/car-detail/body-kits/Porsche-996-Turbo-Carbon-Fiber-Side-Air-Scoop_291093541065.html
And i have the original part lying which i can make a mould from. But how do i go around to keep the carbon pattern as straight as possible? I guess getting the fabric around some of the bends will pose a challenge?
Also i would like to infuse it.
What do you think? will it be to tricky?
