If it is epoxy, the exactly as it says on the bottle, any different and you will have problems with it curing and all epoxy resins can be slightly different depending on brand. Polyester then anywhere from 1-5% by volume depending on how fast you want it to gel.

Ok, thanks. And what about the ratio epoxy resin-carbon fiber, related to the weight of CF? Is it 50-50?

ideal would be 50-50 but you need to take into account wastage in the pot, on the brush, in consumables ect so always take this into account when weighing out what you need. Some of the resin will go into the breather when you bag it so will bring it closer to the desired ratio.

Thanks a lot. I've started to use the vacuum bagging technique only a few weeks ago and only once I made the bag, not using the appropriate ratio CF-epoxy, but anyway having a good result. With the next bag I would like to have a better balance between the resin and the CF layers, just for this I asked. Thanks
