Hi guys!
just stumbled apon a roll of kevlar that is golden. Not just the normal yellow but like realy golden, 2/2 Twill, realy beautiful. It looks more like the colored glas but the seller told me its Kevlar. Have you guys seen anything like that? Is it legit or just a try to sell some cheep glass as kevlar?

Try cutting it with normal scissors --- 

The silver-glass sold by EC cuts easily, like any normal glass-weave -- The yellow-golden coloured pure Kevlar I have is a bit** to cut, and even resists the EC Kevlar shears..

have you tried pulling it apart at the edges with your fingers? does it fluff up quite a bit?

Could be zylon ? That's a golden/bronze colour but pretty rare

cutting that makes kevlar seem like a knife through butter !

rob you have just brought back many memories of the amount of 22 blades i went through trying to cut that stuff

Didn't anyony teach you the cutting trick with the heel of a 26 blade ?

I thought it was bad with just a small intrusion panel but it had loads of inserts and square bosses, which was a nightmare.
