You can use a wax additive. Use some fresh gelcoat mixed with a little
Solution MW Wax Gelcoat Additive
to prevent the cured resin being tacky. Then once cured, sand flat with surrounding gel and polish back up.

Can be polished back up to a mirror shine and is compatible with most resin systems.
Its also useful for fixing any other gelcoat damage in coloured gelcoat if you spray it after.

Do I need to put a wax additive in the Uni-mold gel coat to use it to repair some damaged in a mold.
