Good day, vacuum infused a hood today. using vinyl ester resin. Top it with 1 layer of carbon 2x2 twill 5.7oz mat. Reinforcement of cm300 fiberglass mat, doubled it in some parts for extra strength. I used the usual tools peel ply, infusion spiral and infusion mesh same in the tutorial video. I had a tight seal on the bag. No air drops or leaks. Infusion went well.
Had it dried till the next day. After pulling the product from the mold. I had some air pockets on the carbon. Looks like resin starvation to me. But in my peel ply, resin is all over and had some excess. Can you guys access this problem. I will be happy to supply more information
I have attached the following photos for your reference:
-carbon part with air pockets
-back of the carbon parts with air pockets
-peel ply with excess resin on top of the spot where there is air pockets
Thank you!

Only partially open the line clamp on the resin feed. That throttles it.
