Good day, vacuum infused a hood today. using vinyl ester resin. Top it with 1 layer of carbon 2x2 twill 5.7oz mat. Reinforcement of cm300 fiberglass mat, doubled it in some parts for extra strength. I used the usual tools peel ply, infusion spiral and infusion mesh same in the tutorial video. I had a tight seal on the bag. No air drops or leaks. Infusion went well. 

I had this happen when it was a very hot day, resin over the entire peal ply but hadn't soaked through entire fabric... it was because the resin had started to 'gel' while still flowing through the part thus just flowed over it rather than through it.
