No experience of the , but have just read up on them, would be interesting to know if there could be a specialist sewing machine that could be used to make a 3d fabric, similar to the z pin idea, but more.

Imagine getting all you different layers of fabric stacked up, then run through a sewing machine to bind them all together with carbon, then infusing

Hi Guys,

I came across Z-pins and 'tufting' last night as methods of cross-layer reinforcement.  These are used to stop delamination.  Has anyone got any experience of them or know of any others?  Its always good to know about these things.
