Hello,
New boy here - so please forgive my ignorance. I have nearly finished shaping a solid wood surfboard (balsa).
I'm trying to decide the best way to finish/waterproof it. Can I just coat the board with your coating resin? I mentioned that the board is solid wood, and therefore is structurally sound, so strengthening is not an issue. It is also relatively heavy! So I am looking for a minimal addition of weight to waterproof it, hence my question.
Ideally, I would like to have as clear a finish as I can to maintain the wood visuals.
Many thanks in advance, as any suggestions/thoughts will be appreciated.
