Hey there,
I saw just the product in Halfords at the weekend. I think it's German. Comes in a box.
Cheerz!

Hi Kylle,
We don't have anything like 'plastic dip' - that's probably a little too specific to this application for us to consider stocking at this point.
All the best, Matt

Hi Bruno,
To be honest I don't think that there are any resins systems used in composites that would be suitable for this application. Brake calipers experience huge amounts of heat and while there are resins that will take the temperatures I could not speak of how well they would adhere to the metal of the caliper, they woudl also be very expensive if you managed to find them. It might be worth visiting your local automotive paint supplier, I know here you can buy red high temp spray paint fairly cheaply, I think this would be the best option, here's an example of the sort of stuff;

Paul I found a produt "Plastic dip" that's right on the spot for that kind of work... does EC have something like it?

Hello,
I'm a newbie in composite project and then I hope someone could be able to help me to choice the good product...
I wish to know wich resin is the best to paint the 4 brake calipers of my car in red...
As you know, for this project we need an high temperature and long life product and I wish to be able to apply it with a simple paintbrush.
I think exopy resin + red pigments should be ok but I need specialist advice to choice the right products...
Maybe someone has another idea (polyurethan resin ?) Any advice will be very appreciated.
FYI, you can saw a lot of commercial products to do that but they are very expensive (ie :

And here is a video that explain my project :
