Hi everybody !

I´m thinking on building a bigger tank for an offroad bike.

I´m thinking on a three parts mold. The question is that I don´t want to use big flat flange bolted/bonded filler caps.

I prefer to use the old plastic threaded ones. I can get one commercial cap, but need to include the thread on the mold.

Does anybody have any experience on a similar matter ?

Every recomendation will be welcomed.

Cheers ! Wink

Hi Zorongo
You need to use a threaded  filler neck with a flange so it can be bonded in from inside your tank, drill a series of holes in the flange so the adhesive/resin will have a stronger bond.
