cactus so you say i can put first layer pre preg 200gr and second i can use normal dry cf for layers that i need. also any photo where you bake those things?
No, it's all prepreg. I don't really do wetlay so I don't keep much dry fabrics. Only for skinning, but I keep that away from prepregs. The photo of the part in the oven is there.

Grand job.
Next time substitute the foil tape for brown packing tape. Will work 10000 times better. Any plastic containing acetate with a smooth surface finish will not bond to epoxy, polyester or vynlester.

I never put fibreglass in anything I do unless the customer requests it to save money. It adds weight and its dishonest. A lot of people out there are putting only 1 layer of carbon and backing up with glass. It gets on my nerves.
This^ sooo many business do this its unreal. As 99% of people who buy carbon parts have no idea how there made professionally so they don't really know what to look for with regards to quality. And theres plenty of home brew laminators armed with youtube knowledge who put professional laminators in the business (like me) out of work by selling rubbish quality carbon parts that are mostly woving roving hidden between plys of carbon.

Next time if you need take a mould from wood, sand it first. After it use polyurethane laquer coat. The surface will be shiny
Yea, I could have lacquered it with the same lacquer I used on the carbon as its bar top wood lacquer, but I couldn't disturb the original.

Those trays were 4 layers of 200g carbon each.
The bike mudguard was one of 200g, one of 600g

Skinning with prepreg?
Its briefly crossed my mind, but you'll have bag creases to sand down afterwards. There's also the danger of going through, as the epoxy layer is so thin. Sometimes it's bare carbon. Also, you'll need to lacquer for UV protection. On top of that, there's the cost of the material.
You're better off skinning the normal way, maybe use a powder coated cloth.
