Hi there. I am in france and making a strip plank canoe. Excellent website and you ship to europe!

I am recommended to use S glass for the exterior of the boat and carbon kevlar for inside. It seems that the black diolen will be fine for a cheaper alternative to the CK.

However i really need to use s glass instead of the e glass you supply for the outside, due to the very thin timber construction. The question is then, can you supply s glass at all? Otherwise would the clear diolen be a suitable replacement for s glass?

Looking forward to hearing your views and thanks in advance.

The difference in strength you're going to get by having S-glass as opposed to E-glass will be negated by your choice of replacing the carbon kevlar with diolen. Diolen will not give you the stiffness that carbon will, and its not quite as impact resistant as kevlar.
