Hi Ail,
I was just rummaging through here and seen that nobody answered your question.
If you haven't found out yet, what EC call a "coupling coat" is known in the industry as a skin coat.
In this instance it's just a standard vinyl ester resin (as long as its HDT is adequate)
DSM's Altac 580 is a good choice.
I'm curious as to what your alternatives were.

Hello all. I live in the states and I'm trying to put together supplies for making a mold using the unimold package as a guide.  I have found a match/similar product from us composites for everything but the coupling coat?  Does anyone know exactly what it is or of any suitable substitutes?  This will be my first attempt so forgive me if this is a stupid question Tongue Thanks for the help!
