Hi all,
I am going to attempt my first split mold and am hoping to reproduce the small hatch spoiler from my car. Because of the severe angle that it takes at the edge I know a spilt mold will be necessary I was just hoping for some advice if my split point is going to work.
I am hoping to split the mold along this red line I've added to my picture. I think it will work but it is curved and I think I've only seen spilt molds where people keep the splits very straight. So will it be ok to do this?
Some other pictures from other angles if they will be helpful:
Thanks for your help!

It will work fine as a vertical like that. Although if you can angle it, it may make laying up the mould a bit easier due to the practicalities.
