Is it possible to use two pieces of cloth to create the first layer of the part without a highly noticeable join line once the part is finished?

I would like to use carbon from a roll which would need two pieces to cover the mould but don't want it to look noticeable once finished. Any advice or pictures of similar joins greatly appreciated!

Thanks,

you can make a neat join using something called pro finish carbon... EC sell it.

I had to do a number of these so I made a feature of it... have you considered opposing weave?
All you need to do is lay one side with a very neat line, lightly glue it down... then the other side simply overlaps as you dont need a neat line for this one.

here is what I did... pegani do this on the bonnet so one half the car goes one direct, the other half the other way, looks fantastic IMO
