Group: Forum Members Posts: 5, Visits: 16	Hi, I'm building a 2/5 gypsy caravan and need some advice on choosing a casting resin for a part which is taking on weight from a leaf spring, So I guess I need something which isn't too brittle? This is a snapshot of my cad drawing if it helps in any way.

Hi Matt, The spring would be only compressing down on the casting with no side movement as it will be static with about 20 kg max weight on it so the PX90 sounds a good solution , I looked at the P6....

Hi Brian, I see, that's much more clear now. I did consider the P6 but wondered how much 'give' this block would need. If it's just a static compressive load then Xencast P6 would also be a good...

Hi Matt, I'm fortunate enough to be able to use a vacuum chamber, also I've ordered the P6 for different part which will give me chance to try it before buying the PX90. Many thanks for your help....
