+x noahark - 9/17/2019 3:21:43 PMHi - I have a seasoned carbon fiber mould (picture attached below) that I've used for several resin infusion skateboards. Currently there are spots of carbon fiber showing through. From the start, I never put a layer of gelcoat or primer on it, but instead only applied wet lay up epoxy and mould release + pva film to release the part. I built up the mould on some XPS shaped foam with wet layup. Now I've got it back to a smooth surface with some 320 grit sand paper. What's the best way to get this back to a perfect finish for a mould? Is it possible through infusion vs. painting? Thanks -
