Hi, I have a beach catamaran (Hobie 18) that has a centre board for each hull. They are very old and heavy and I would like to make carbon replacements. The foil is about 1.4m in length, the foil chord is about 40cm and the foil thickness is about 40mm at the thickest point. How would you recommend I approach this? Do I make a mould, make 2 halves and glue them together? Any thoughts please. Thanks in advance. Mike

Depends how bad they are.  Sand flat then polish back may be all thats needed. But yes definitely worth repairing as the better quality the pattern, the better the mould so less work later on.
