I have an RC Car body I was looking to skin over and the XCR skinning kit looks ideal.

Could anyone advise if this is the best or is there a better option out there?

Also due to it being a single item it was cost prohibitive to get someone to make me a full CF body hence the idea of skinning.

But are there any companies/individuals who offer the service of doing the skinning work?

Skinning an RC car shouldn't be beyond the realms of possibility. Depending on the shape, there may be a few difficult bits to do but it should be doable.  You might struggle to find a place to do it for you as small projects are invariably disproportionately expensive on labour costs which means often doing it yourself is the main viable option.
