Hi,

Can anyone recommend what product I can use to seal the newly-cut edges of the rigid CF sheets, please?  I notice there's a few polishing compounds on the easycomposites website - would they be suitable?  I'm finding that even after sanding and cleaning they still leave a dark residue when wiped with a cloth afterwards.

Thanks,

Malcolm

When I did some contract work for a major airline they recommended sealing the edge with epoxy thinned with a small amount of acetone.  Sorry I don't know the mix ratio as this was over a decade ago.
