My ice hockey stick has a crack along the blade and I would like to repair it, but I don't know how to do it. I think using epoxy and carbon fiber would be a good option, but I don't really know how to proceed. I don't know what CF and epoxy to use either.
Could someone help me?
Thank you

The
carbon braided sleeving
is great for this kind of repair as it covers the whole blade thus meaning that the shape of the blade remains intact despite the patch repair underneath. This is especially important with cricket bats and hockey sticks etc where the smooth working surface is necessary to a good performing part. I would also use a thick coat of resin if needs be over the braid to leave a surface that can be sanded finely to shape with wet and dry sandpaper and then finish up to a high gloss using a polishing compound.
