Not much luck with the laminating resin for skinning .. I only use XCR now .. It might work for the base coat but you would probably need to thicken it with colloidal silica to avoid it running off....

I was having issues with the xcr but I think it's because I was wet sanding between coats and was leaving white marks if I was breaking through a coat due to reacting with the water... on there video...

Yeah .. I never wet sand between XCR coats, .. no need to wet sand .. I just sand with 240 dry .. and it is very important not to sand through to the fabric ... I have used several other Coating...

Hi! I wet sand the final layer of XCR in order to polish it to my desired "shine" I do not usually clear coat on top of XCR.. No Need :-)
