You can do it that way ... but it will be better to vacuum-bag the whole lot as well ..
That is .. lay down a sheet of vac-bag film, then the first waxed bracket (remember to wax i all over) then wet lay carbon fibres with your epoxy of choice on top, second bracket on top, you can cut holes in the CF cloth to match the bolt holes in the brackets, then wax up some bolts, through both brackets, tighten up, then bag up with a release film (perforated) breather cloth and then seal a second layer og bag-film on top, vac- connector on, vacuum on, check that the bag has no leaks, then leave to cure...
This will give you a part with a high fibre to weight ratio, with no (or very few) voids that would rob the bracket of its strength ..
