Dear All,

I would like to know how to clear coat a piece made by carbon fibre. Reading through the products descriptions, I didn't find any product that could be sprayed over a finished part in order to get a better finish (for instance, if you end up with a matte finnish, you could spray a clear coat and make it glossy).

I read, that the people from Easy Composites, recommend laquer to do so, but I would like to know which kind of laquer would be the best: normal laquer for wood applications, polyurethane laquer...

Thanks for your attention and help!

Any automotive coating will be fine. 2 pack polyurethane will give the best results, but I would caution you against it if you dont have the proper safety equipment.
