Any body got any info on wrapping carbon.

I'm making parts for a bike that's sponsored and the sponsor wants to vinyl rap the bike in their livery,

any special requirements before they start.

Shouldn't be any different to wrapping any other substrate. Needs to be very clean, etc. All stuff they should be doing anyway.

If the part came out of a mould that used a wax release agent, or you don't know for sure what type of release agent was used, then its a good idea to give it a really good solvent clean, then a cut and polish, and then another really good solvent clean. Just to get rid of any traces of release agent - wax is a pain for product transfer. Semi-perms shouldn't transfer at all, so should be fine in that case.

I used semi perm so I will just give the parts a good soap down and let the wrapper do the rest.

They doing me a favour wrapping as initially it was going to be painted so now I'm not worried about any tiny pinholes that would have needed filling.
