I am currently in the brainstorming process of my first project. I am planning to build a set of automotive valve covers for my old car. I plan to make a mold from a set of valve covers that I have but don't like very much and I was wondering how to go about putting a design on the top. I could leave a recess to glue a design in but I would much rather like to have it incorporated into the final product. I can't seem to find any info/videos on doing this. Is it even possible? I plan to use the infusion method. Is this the proper method?  Please remember, I am a newbie carbon fiber DIY'er. 

Are you wanting it to be a 3d logo, or something that is say painted on after? Im going to assume youre wanting 3D. Im also pretty new, but I would say that you are going to have to get your logo designed how you want it them attach that to the actual valve cover and making another mold, if you want it all out of one piece. Or like car manufacturers do now, you could add it on later with an adhesive or glue of some sort

There are a few people on the japanese car scene making cam covers, mainly mx5 and nissans come to mind.
