lookin to make my first honeycombe panel and have been thinking about how to join the layers together.
The plan will be to infuse two sheets of carbon and then vag bag them onto the core. I've seen EC do an adhesive for bonding cores, but how's best to apply this? Do you just lay a big lump down and spread it out with a spreader? My other thought had been to just mix up more resin, maybe thicken it a little, and then paint that on to the carbon.
Any other ideas or input?

Both will work, personally I prefer using epoxy with a bit of fumed silica. Adhesive ends up a bit heavy in my opinion, and I feel like it doesn't distribute evenly across the service.

if you can get some film adhesive, its made for this job. you will need to cure at temperature though, so not sure if thats possible in your case?

Thanks for the replies. Cost is an issue on this so thickened resin it is
I can heat cycle for an adhesive film, but I haven't got any and I think it will work out more expensive
