Thanks for your suggestion. Anyway, I tried to lay up the only film, but the final result has been really horrible (fortunately I tried to apply it only by hand, no vacuum)!
So, I'm scratching the last layer and I will back to lay up the "normal" procedure peelply-film-breather Smile

There's a product called infuply which is perf release file with mesh bonded to it removing the need for peel ply. It woks pretty well, but as above, the finish is worse imo that peel ply

Ok,thanks, I'm sanding the surface of the piece, as it came out with the texture of the peelply, and I will also use the only perforated film, so the have the "glossy" finish.
Thanks Smile

Yes you can, but it will be an uneven and slightly bumpy surface, and not really "glossy" --  I find that peel-ply, when removed makes for a very nice even surface, that can be coated very easily with clear coat or just brushed carefully with epoxy, making a much nicer surface. Also, when the peel-ply is removed, the surface can be sanded a bit down very easily, and you will use less coating.

Just a tip from the group: when using the vacuum bagging, does anybody use only the perforated film and the breather? Adding to these,I use also the peelply (as it could be as usual) closer to the carbon fiber, but when out of the mould the finish is with the texture of the peelply.
Do you think I could use only the film and the breather, so to have the carbon with a more glossy finish?
Thanks for your help
