Hello,

I have coated an outdoors wooden playhouse in easycomposites epoxycoating resin.  I now want to colour the coating.  Will a standardacrylic paint (eg Dulux weathershield) adhere to the existing layer of coatingresin?  Alternatively, can I use easycomposites epoxy colour pigment to mix with anew layer of the coating resin to provide colour?

Thanks for your help.

Kevin

All the standard outdoor water-based acrylic paints I have used sticks to almost any clean dry surface..

(I had real trouble removing some from the inside of my new stainless steel outdoor sink -- )  That was on a wet surface!!

Grease and dirt will be the only problem .. Washed and lightly sanded epoxy is close to a perfect binding surface for acrylic paints.
