Hi!
If you are serious about "gradually "tooling up" then get these kits:
Epoxy mould making kit.. You can start with the "regular"
Carbon fibre laminating starter kit.
pack of nitrile gloves (You will use a lot of these gloves, do not be tempted to buy cheap vinyl ones.)
The small roll of "profinish" or standard twill CF
2 meters of Twill weave black Diolen fabric, or 200 gsm Twill E-Glass
1 kg pack of EL2
(Do not worry that you will have Epoxy Resin/hardener "left over" if you decide not to continue to do composites work, EL2 is brilliant stuff for almost any other project in woodworking , Automotive e.t.c. Add some filler-powder and you have "Epoxy filler" or super-strong glue. You can seal wood constructions with the stuff, or build "wood-strip" parts ... )
Do a few small parts, for practice use the Diolen or E-Glass
Then progress to:
Resin Infusion Kit (Has all the parts you will need for vacuum-bagging hand lay up parts to start with.
Large Epoxy Mould making kit.
More CF cloth / Kevlar / Glass Diolene + resins, according to the amount you need for the larger projects.
But be caefull ... this is a highly addictive pursuit ...
"Sapere Aude"... Dare to KNOW!
