I'm pretty new to using GC50 and have a question regarding the repair of a cosmetic part made with GC50.
When I've repaired gel coats before in the past, I've just mixed in wax and brushed it on, however I've heard that gc50 doesn't like being brushed and that it doesn't stick to itself very well.
Has anyone got any info on this? Luckily it's just one side of the part so if I have to I'll just brush epoxy over it an hope it doesn't yellow too quick, although it's off to Dubai so want to do it properly

I recently did a repair to GC50. The part had been dropped and was chipped. I removed any loose bits and then sanded it.
Mixed GC50 and spread on with a lolly stick. When it was set I wet sanded it and polished. This is now an invisible repair.

Did you mixed it with any kind of additive? Or exactly same as you mixe it for making a new part?
Thanks.

I only mixed a small amount. Maybe 5 grammes so guessed that about 2 drips of MEKP would do.

Thanks Brian,
This could be helpful for a next repair! I didn't know if GC50 could totaly cure without stay sticky if not covered with epoxy resin.

It did but it would not have mattered if it did't as I had to sand it down.
