Group: Forum Members Posts: 3, Visits: 20	Hi everyone, Myself and a team of engineering students from Toronto are building a bicycle to reach 145 km/h (90 MPH) on level ground, and break the World Human-Powered Speed Record. The team has had a great deal of experience with composites including the human-powered helicopter that won the Sikorsky prize and the world's first human-powered ornithopter. We're always learning and developing new techniques and think this is a pretty awesome forum. I would really like to donate a small sum to your project, but since I do not "Do" Facebbok, that does not seem possible, judging from your project page... Is there any other way to donate to the project? I would like to donate enough to get your patch, that would look cool on my leathers, I think "Sapere Aude"... Dare to KNOW! The written word is the only truly efficient vehicle for transmitting a complex concept from mind to mind... 103% of all people do not understand statistics... Do not adjust our mind, theres a fault in reality :-)

Indeed, seeing the helicopter take off and climb to 3 metres was an incredible sight. It should be possible to donate through the Kickstarter page without signing into Facebook (https://www.kickstarter.com/projects/1156290643/eta-be-a-part-of-building-the-worlda-fastest-bike). If you still can't find a way to donate, let me know. The patches are totally worth it! This is how they turned out for the Atlas Helicopter project:
