This is not Infused/Vacuum bagged, merely painted on. A base coat of resin is painted into the mold and allowed to go to tack, and then the fabric is layed and covered in more resin. I am just starting out playing with this stuff which is why I'm not infusing yet. (Although, I do have a pump and all of the consumables, so I may try it and see if that helps at all.)

Both the Mold and The part are sanded with 400-2000 wet/dry sand paper. 
Silmar-249 resin used
Mold release wax and PVA paste used.

2000 grit is cloudy. Have you polished your mould with polishing compound after sanding to 2000?

Also that aside, how are you applying your pva? And what sort of pva is it? Pva forms it's own surface, so if if you are brushing it instead of spraying it then it can wreck the surface finish, or if you are using a matte type PVA then it can come out matte instead of gloss. 

When you've finished sanding, you need to polish it to a high gloss.

I did in fact pick up some polishing compound and finishing paste today. It helped a bit, but still didn't quite get that high gloss perfect mirror shine I am looking for. I ended up making another mold today (I used brushed on PVA paste, because I had started the mold before seeing these posts.)

Are you polishing with a machine or by hand?

Using a machine is the best way to go. Work the polish compound wet for a while and then polish it up to a shine.

Hey everyone! Thanks for all of the tips and advice!

Mobile version is being a bit buggy, so I'm just going to do a separate post.

Also, it's been about an hour now and the part is still holding it's shine, so I believe this is what I need to do. I just need to do it better haha.

I polish my parts with a big machine polisher, not a dremel.  I finish with 2k lacquer, flat with wet 1200 (yes 1200!!) and then polish with G6 followed by G3 and then G10.  Most of the shine comes from the G6.
