I'm up in Aberdeen. I'll get some photos on the go once I get started, should get started on repairing the fibreglass this weekend and aiming to have the clam ready for moulding within a few weeks.

Hi guys, thought I'd get signed up as I'm getting started with a bit of a project!


I'd seen some of the demonstration videos a while ago and also some of AndyGTT's carbon work on another forum. A thankfully minor encounter between a deer and my own car (along with a large quote from a bodyshop!) has given me a perfect excuse to give some carbon work a try on my Lotus Elise.

I'll probably have a few questions on fibreglass preparation prior to moulding, as the finishing on the repairs is the main area I'm unsure about, but I'm looking forward to seeing how I get on!
