Hi!
I use vaccum bagging and I want to kill all the pinholes. I was wondering, can I spray clear coat on mould after puting release agent, after laquer I would put normal layup. Will the clear coat release? Will it bond to polyester or rather epoxy? I've talked to Mathieu and he said that it would be ok put first layer should be thin and after it doesn't matter.
Thanks for taking your time

It depends which clear coat you use and the prep beforehand. I have heard that Marineware in conjunction with a boat builders on the south coast of GB have successfully developed a way of clearcoating the entire boat hull prior to layup so it is possible. I'm 98% sure they use Durepox.

Apparently when it de-moulds it literally booms like a cannon and sends static sparks around like inside a plasma ball, 50m+ boat demould...  nice...
