If you are going to use CSM and Epoxy Resin remember the CSM needs to be "powder bound" not "emulsion bound". Epoxy won't break down the "emulsion" holding the fibres together.

thank you for the help! Im gonna make a couple of shin guards for alpine skiing. Im a little too stingy to use the carbon fibre so im going to try out the fibreglass

Yeah, sure procedure is the sam but instead of using cf you lay fiber glass cloth, but there is no sense in laminating some small fg part with epoxy resin. You should use poly resin with gelcoat and some light cloth or csm.

you can use any weave you want. Sometimes I use fiberglass to test the surfacefinish of my proces/muold before using the expensive Carbonfiber

Hey!
Im going to make a part out of fibreglass and epoxy, is there something different or can i do it the samy way as with carbon fibre?
Im thinking of doing it this exactly this way, but with fibreglass instead of carbon fibre,
