Hi everyone!

I could use some advice...
So I draw my part in software and those were CNC-milled in multiplex wood.
I know wood isn't the best choice but for me as a student it was the cheapest way...

The finish is good but I'm wondering how I have to finish the moulds before filling them with an epoxy to get the plugs out.
I'll finish those plugs once again till a high gloss then. The wooden moulds will only be used once to get the plugs.
I have some ideas but wondered what your experiences are with those kind of problems.

1. Coat the mould with a Infusion Resin with a brush a few times.
2. Use vinyl wrapping (carwrapping vinyl to seal everything
3. Use a 2K filler spraycan. and sand till high gloss

I would prefer choise 3 but I need to have a confirmation telling me it wont react with epoxy after it...
I read it a lot its ok to do it that way but just need the confirmation if possible Smile
