Hi all, just wondering what's worth having, as a newbie to aramid/CF and resin infusion ? I've a garage where I do the odd bit of bodywork and wet lay fibreglassing. Currently got the resin infusion starter kit, some Soric and Easi Lease in my shopping cart on the online shop.... Anything else I should add??. I'm not looking to build F1 wings, just some heat shields, and an airbox for throttle bodies etc.

Some form of shears to cut the fabric. Choose which ever suits you best.

Gloves -  you'll use loads.

Maybe Acetone - helps clear up uncured resin.

Perma-grit tools to trim and finish off

Digital scales - if you can't get away with borrowing the kitchen ones!!

Thermometer - you need to accurately know the garage temperature for resin curing purposes. A lot of customer problems are due to inaccurate estimates on temperature.

Old clothes/Apron - cured resin makes a mess of clothes, plus you won't want carbon fibres on your best clothes and dragged through the house!!

for compound curves , would Pro-Finish be easier to use than regular 2x2 twill?
