ideas on making front fenders(you guys call them wings i think).
i dont think they can be done in one piece because of the complicated shapes. i thought of using the steel part where the part bolts to the car
and use CF for the skin where it meets the hood/bonnet and on down. --advantage to this is the part would be adjustable. in pure CF it is too stiff
to adjust like a steel part.
disadvantage-- you have to destroy a steel part to get the section with the bolt holes on it.
what about cf and a 2 part mold and bonding it together?
i dont mind going nuts for super quality, just trying to arm myself with ideas that work instead of a lot of trial and error to learn it all.

thanks everyone !

2 or 3 piece mould would be the best way, i wouldn't bother trying to join CF and steel together to make a wing, that means every time you want to make any you have to buy some steel ones first! defeats the point.

i can tell you that that getting a multi piece mould to seal for infusion is fun!
